Have an interest in printing, printmaking, type, design or just want to try something new? Learn the basics of letterpress printing at our half-day workshop! Set your own composition (form) and print on our Vandercook 4T Proof Press! Classes are held from 12 to 5pm. Cost is $70, which includes instruction, materials, and no less than 10 prints of your creation. You will also take home 1 print from your fellow classmates! Workshops are limited to 4 people for the most in-depth experience. Topics covered: brief history of letterpress, setting type, plate printing, mixing inks, selecting paper, and much more!

We are excited to introduce this new workshop to our schedule! If you have ever wanted to make Mom or Dad a special card–this is for you! You will be able to design your own 1-color, 1-side greeting card (doesn't have to be to Mom or Dad) and print it on your own! Each person signed up for this workshop will get up close and personal with a proof press: setting up the form, inking the press, cutting paper and printing! Cost is $70, which includes instruction, materials, and 10+ cards. Workshops are limited to 4 people. Topics covered: brief history of letterpress, proof press printing, mixing inks, selecting paper, and much more!

We are excited to introduce this other new workshop to our schedule! If you have ever wanted letterpress business cards, but didn’t want to pay full price to get them printed–this is for you! You will be able to design your own 1-color, 1-side business card and print it on your own! Each person signed up for this workshop will get up close and personal with a platen press: setting up the plate, inking the press, cutting paper and printing! Plates will be ordered for you—all you have to do is print! Cost is $80, which includes instruction, materials, plate (which you can keep) and no less than 100 business cards! Workshops are limited to 4 people, with staggered time slots to prevent delayed printing. Topics covered: brief history of letterpress, plate printing, mixing inks, selecting paper, and much more!
